NMHC Foundation

The New Mexico Horse Council Foundation, Inc. was formed in 2002 and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, herein referred to as the Corporation.

​

The purposes for which the Corporation was formed are

• to encourage, by public contribution, support of worthwhile charitable, scientific, and educational projects of interest and benefit to such purposes;

• to make contributions or gifts to or for the use of any program, entity, corporation, trust, fund, or foundation, organized and operated exclusively for charitable, scientific or educational purposes in the horse industry;

• to assist and support research into the care and prevention of equine diseases and injuries;

• to promote education through grants, by scholarships or otherwise, to individuals, programs,institutions, and organizations, and by encouragement of research through grants to individuals, institutions and organizations;

• and in general to do and engage in any and all lawful activities that may be incidental or reasonably necessary to any of these purposes and to exercise all other powers and authority now or hereafter conferred upon non-profit corporations in the State of New Mexico.

The Corporation operates exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes.
